International Workers Of The World
- International Workers Of The World
(IWW)
Founded in Chicago in 1905, the International Workers of the World was an anarcho-syndicalist organization though influenced by Marxism. Eugene Debs and Daniel De Leon were involved in the founding of the IWW, and their parties, the Socialist Party of America and the Socialist Labor Party, were linked to the IWW, although the anarcho-syndicalism of the IWW led to it breaking with Debs, De Leon and their parties. The IWW dissolved in 1925.
